This is the last day that Amelia latched on. It was a very difficult decision to make. Amelia had resisted the milk bottle for these 2 days and also many more times in the past few weeks. She has grown to differentiate between latching on and drinking from the milk bottle so much so that no matter how much rocking, cuddling and distractions we tried, she just won't drink from the bottle. The thought of no more latching on just brings tears to my eyes ... We decided at the end of the day that we'd have Amelia sleep at my mum's place for the next few days in order for this to succeed. When she was at home with me, I'd been giving in and latched on whenever she rejected the bottle. Today, we decided to leave her at my mum's place after dinner for the next few days. It's not easy.
